Nadhira Al Harthi
First Omani Female to summit Mount Everest in 2019, and Mount Manaslu in 2021. She is also the first Arab woman to summit Mount Ama Dablam in 2021, they are one of the highest and most technical peaks in the world located in Nepal.
Nadhira is an Assistant General Manager of the Scouts in the Sultanate of Oman.
Marwa Al Wadhahi
First Omani women to join the National Weightlifting Team in January 2019. She became the first Omani female weightlifting judge in February 2019. Marwa has many other achievements such as completing the ironman 70.3, UTMB Ulta Run 50km and participates in other sports such as CrossFit, mountain climbing and diving. Her hobbies include volunteering, going on adventures, watching movies and is a Sudoku Champion.
Ehdaa Al Barwani
First certified female PADI scuba diving instructor in Oman known as " Dive with Dee". She owns a company called Aura Divers where she provides sea tours and diving courses.
Mazoon Al Alawi
Plays for the National Athletics Team, participated as a 100 meters runner in the Olympics of 2016 and 2020.
She plays other sports such as Handball in the local teams in Oman.
Atheer Al Sabri
Atheer is an adventurer who climbs mountains, dives, abseil and rock climb, where she spends most of her weekends enjoying the outdoors.
She is a triathlete who completed the 70.3 Iron Man in Oman in 2020. Crossed 28 days of the Omani Empty Quarter Desert as part of the "Her Faces of Change" expedition. She got 3rd place for Omani Female category in the 50KM UTMB Ultra run race in Oman.
Thara Al Ismaili
Thara has many achievements as an athlete both locally and internationally. She has acquired a full football scholarship at the Dakota Wesleyan University (DWU) 2011 - 2015. She was part of the NAIA/Dactronics All American Scholar-Athletes 2013-2015. She was awarded The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award in Gold,Silver and Bronze 2008-2011. She also has achievements in the GCC and awards in volleyball and basketball. She currently plays football as a forward for Oman Football Club.
Husna Al Moosawi
Husna worked as a Coach Assistant in football for girls under 12 in Zaytoona Sports Academy. She is the main Goalkeeper in Muscat Football Club. She enjoys photography and playing piano. Husna aspires to become the first certified Omani
female goalkeeper coach.
Khairzad
Khairzad Jamaan Mahoud is an Omani adventurer, who is also a mother & a nurse from the Governorate of Dhofar.
She began her journey towards adventures in 2019, and founded the first women’s hiking group in Dhofar. The team now consists of 50 women of all age groups, including mothers, grandmothers, and young women, from different regions of the Dhofar Governorate.
Wafa Al Sumri
A former basketball player who played for the Omani National Team. She contributed to the creation and maintenance of different female basketball teams in Petroleum Development Oman. She is an ambassador and advocate for female basketball in Oman.
Wafa is also a certified basketball referee in several basketball tournaments.
Hanan Al Ismaili
A football left midfielder in Oman Football Club. She was co-captain and MVP of the senior football team in highschool. Player for Women's Football 3s at University of Birmingham.
She also enjoys kitesurfing, and blogs her lifestyle and experiences around Oman.
